The department is equipped with Siemens Somatom Go-Now CT Scanner with CT stimulator, LAP Laser Carbon Couch and contrast injector.

Somatom Go Now

High speed dual whole body 32 slides computed 3D Tomography scanner is designed to produce optimum image quality and productivity by fully providing simultaneous scan, image reconstruction, filming, archiving, networking and display. Radiation treatment planning with the help of necessary hardware and software and using carbon couch for exact planning is being done to every patient.

CT Stimulator

It consist of diagnostic quality CT-Scanner, Laser patient monitoring, marking system, virtual stimulation/3D treatment planning system.

Patients are imaged on CT-Scanner specially configured to acqurie 3D images used for treatment planning. It allows radiation oncologist to localize tumour and surrounding areas that will require radiation treatment.

LAP Laser

Minimising patient positioning errors, provides patient safety, marker accessories and clinical workflow and provides reproducible postion.

Carbon Couch

It provides submillimeter & subdegree precision in high - precision radiotherapy patient positioning. Carbon fibre couch with registering device allows immobilization device to be moved from CT-Scanner to treatment machine (Linear Accelerator) in a reproducible manner.
